The Cook Islands Centre for Research at the University of the South Pacific Cook Islands campus has two important archival collections: the papers of Ron Crocombe (1929-2009) and the papers of Don Marshall (1919-2005).
Both were academics who taught and researched in the Cook Islands and elsewhere in the Pacific.
Currently this database covers the Crocombe collection only.
The Marshall collection is partially catalogued and digitized at the Pacific Manuscripts Bureau at the Australian National University in Canberra. The collection itself is at the Cook Islands Research Centre on Rarotonga.
There is a bibliography of Ron Crocombe's books here.
